Subject: Help in Culling Books
E-mail this message to a friend I volunteer with the Friends of the Tompkins County Library Book Sale in Ithaca, NY, and I am the sorter for Communications which includes linguistics. For the upcoming sale, I have received many more books than I can put out—or probably sell.
The question I have for you all is whether you can help me decide what to keep. I have a lot of language acquisition, some language therapy, and quite a few working papers volumes. Unfortunately, I do not have a lit, but I do have photos of the books. If you are willing to look at what I have and give me some ideas, that would be great.
I know that there is tendency these days to assume that only things written in the last ten years have any scholarly value, but I disagree, and I would like to keep items of interest. If you think you might be interested in any of the titles (these would not be free, but not more than $4.50/vol.), I will also send you photos.
