Meeting Description:
Lavender Languages and Linguistics 26 – Gothenburg, Sweden 2-4 May 2019
https://lavlang26.wordpress.com/ The Lavender Languages and Linguistics conference, dedicated to language and sexuality research, has run annually since 1993. In May 2019 scholars will convene in Sweden, with the conference being hosted in Gothenburg.
It was founded by Professor William Leap twenty-five years ago. The conference is the international meeting point for scholars interested in language and sexuality. The conference has historically been a friendly space in which scholars have presented their work on language and sexuality in a supportive environment. Undergraduate and graduate papers on sexuality are very welcome!
Lavender Language 26 will retain its inclusive, supportive atmosphere; submissions focusing on language and sexuality (broadly defined) are welcome.
Information about call for papers and registration will be circulated in September 2018.
