Meeting Description:
The conference will foster international cooperation by providing an opportunity to examine and share the state-of-the-art research and best practices in the field of applied linguistics as well as in Canadian Studies. Proposals for individual papers for workshops and for symposia are welcome. Established academics and early-career scholars are encouraged to participate.

April 24-26 2019, Holguin, Cuba

Canadian Studies:
Cuba-Canada relations
Society, Culture and Identity
Aboriginal Studies
Community Development
Language and Literature
History and Politics
Contemporary Issues
Accepted formats:
Plenary conferences are of 60 minutes length.
Papers are of 20 minutes length, followed by a 10-minutes question period.
Symposiums are of 60 minutes length and should include 3 to 4 participants.
Pre- or post-conference workshops are of 4 hours length.
Presentations can be given in Spanish, English, French, or Portuguese. Interpretation from Spanish to English will be provided in plenary sessions only.
