The Human Language Technologies Lab (https://hltlab.org) At Penn State has openings for PhD students to work on projects related to natural language processing, with a focus on computational discourse, NLP applied to web text, or NLP applied to privacy.

Applicants should possess strong writing skills and an attentiveness to details. Coursework in NLP, artificial intelligence, or machine learning is also desirable.
