Focus: DH Downunder is a summer institute providing cutting-edge training in digital research methods including classes particularly relevant to corpus linguists among others.

Special Qualifications: The summer institute is open to non-students too, e.g. academic faculty, librarians, and others who may benefit from improving their digital research skills

DH Downunder includes courses particularly relevant to linguists, such as corpus linguistics, introduction to R, distant reading, topic modelling, creating and using databases, linked open data as well as more general skills such as project management, using LaTeX, open access publishing, etc.
