Subject: The English Superlative: Native Speakers Needed
E-mail this message to a friend Dear language enthusiasts,
I am currently writing my PhD thesis in English linguistics at the University of Bamberg, Germany, about a well-known feature of the English language: The alternation between the two variants of the superlative (-est vs. most).
In order to obtain data for my thesis, I have devised an online questionnaire which takes approximately 6-8 minutes to fill in and is completely anonymous. The data I collect will not be used for commercial purposes; you will notice that no company would potentially be interested in the stuff I deal with. All varieties of English are welcome, but participants have to be native speakers of English.
Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
