Description:
The
transdisciplinary “Lehmann-Haupt International Doctoral Programme” is a joint
project between Ilia State University Tbilisi (ISU) and Georg-August-University of
Göttingen (UGOE). Within this programme a PhD position - fully funded until December
2021 - is offered in the field ''Language and Language Change''. Proposed research
subjects are ''Corpus Linguistics'', ''Computational Linguistics'',
''Grammaticalization'' and ''Minority Languages''. The PhD student will undergo
Cotutelle-based supervision and conduct doctoral studies at ISU in Tbilisi/Georgia
and UGOE in Göttingen/Germany. Upon successful completion of the doctoral project a
PhD degree by each of the two universities (double degree) will be awarded.
