Description:
National Breath of Life Archival Institute for Indigenous Languages is pleased to announce that we have received a National Endowment for the Humanities Digital Humanities Advancement Grant Level III (HAA-261218-18) to develop an advanced training program within the National Breath of Life Archival Institute for Indigenous Languages. As part of the ongoing development of the institute, we will release a new piece of software that will assist in the organization of archival materials you may have collected through a National BoL workshop. The software is called the Indigenous Languages Digital Archive or ILDA for short. You can find more information about the new National BoL workshops here.
National BoL will be holding two workshops offering training in the use of ILDA. The first workshop will be held on July 15-19, 2019 at Miami University in Oxford, OH. A second workshop will be held at the University of Oregon in Eugene, OR in 2020. Dates for the University of Oregon workshops have not yet been set.
Applications to the 2019 workshop are now open! Applications are due on December 15. Please visit the new National BoL website (nationalbreathoflife.org) for more information and for application details.
