work”
In the framework of an interdisciplinary project on productivity in syntax, we are currently hiring several full-time doctoral fellows (four years), among which one Master in linguistics (or an equivalent degree), for a PhD on dative subject constructions in Icelandic, German and Dutch.
The candidates are expected to have a great interest in linguistic research, as evidenced in, preferably, a Master paper in the area of linguistics with a focus on at least one of the languages involved (i.e. Icelandic, German and Dutch). Experience in corpus linguistics and some familiarity with quantitative methods are certainly a plus. Since the successful candidate will be working in a team on a common topic, team-playership and collaborative skills are particularly welcome. In addition, all candidates should have an excellent knowledge of English.
