Meeting Description:
The Center for the Study of Language Development and Linguistic Communication, University of Bucharest announces the 6th Bucharest Colloquium of Language Acquisition (BUCLA 6) which will be held at the University of Bucharest on the 16th of November 2019.
The colloquium provides a forum for discussion of recent research on language acquisition and language learning. BUCLA 6 is primarily intended as a venue for doctoral students and researchers to present ongoing work on any topic relevant to L1 and 2L1 acquisition, L2 and L3 learning, with a focus on Romanian. Work on the acquisition of other languages is also welcome.

Call for Papers:
We invite one-page abstract submissions (TNR 12, single-spaced, 1-inch margins), including data and references, for 40 minute long oral presentations (30 minutes for the presentation and 10 minutes for discussions). The abstracts must be in English and they should be sent to: bucla6

Important dates:
Deadline for submissions: 15 July 2019
Notification of acceptance: 15 August 2019
All authors who present in the colloquium will be invited to submit their paper for a volume of selected contributions.
