Description:
Austin Peay State University seeks to hire an Assistant Professor of linguistics. This is a nine-month, tenure-track appointment to begin in August of 2019. Applicants must have completed a doctorate degree in linguistics, or in English with a concentration in linguistics, by the time of the appointment.
We seek applicants with a demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in linguistics, including introductory courses, as well as History of the English Language, Survey of Early Germanic Languages, Historical Linguistics, English Grammar and Usage, and History of American English.
