E-mail this message to a friend The School of Linguistics and Language Studies at Carleton University is pleased to announce the launch of three new graduate programs:
MA in Linguistics

https://carleton.ca/slals/linguistics/phd/ Graduate Diploma in Linguistics
https://carleton.ca/slals/linguistics/gdip/ The MA in Linguistics provides students with a solid grounding in theoretical linguistics covering the main areas of linguistic theory, with an opportunity to explore interdisciplinary connections with related fields.
The PhD in Linguistics, Language Documentation and Revitalization will have a dual focus on linguistically informed documentation and community-oriented maintenance and revitalization.
The graduate diploma (GDip) in Linguistics is a "graduate minor", intedended for current Carleton graduate students in other departments interested in language and linguistics.
Funding support is available through TAships and scholarships.
The application deadlines are March 1 (guaranteed space and funding), and August 31 (final deadline).
