Le département de linguistique est fier de souligner le 50e anniversaire de l'UQAM en organisant le colloque 50 ans de linguistique à l'UQAM qui se tiendra du 26 au 28 mars 2020 à Montréal. Les chercheuses et les chercheurs en linguistique sont conviés à venir y présenter leurs travaux de recherche.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the University of Quebec at Montreal, the Department of linguistics is pleased to invite submissions for oral presentations and poster sessions in French or English at a conference to be held at UQAM, March 26-28, 2020.

Le département de linguistique est fier de souligner le 50e anniversaire de l’UQAM en organisant le colloque 50 ans de linguistique à l’UQAM.
Les chercheuses et les chercheurs en linguistique sont conviés à venir y présenter leurs travaux de recherche.
Un appel à communications est lancé pour des présentations orales et des présentations affichées. Les propositions de communication scientifique porteront sur des domaines variés de la linguistique, tels que :

- Acquisition
- Description grammaticale
- Langue des signes
- Langues autochtones
- Linguistique historique
- Linguistique informatique
- Linguistique légale
- Morphologie
- Phonétique
- Phonologie
- Pragmatique
- Psycholinguistique
- Sémantique
- Sociolinguistique
- Syntaxe

La durée des présentations sera de 20 minutes, suivies d’une période de 10 minutes de questions.
Les propositions devront être rédigées dans la langue prévue pour la présentation, en français ou en anglais, inclure 4 mots-clés et préciser la forme de la communication (présentation orale ou affiche).

Format des propositions de communication :

- 500 mots maximum
- Titre seulement (ni le nom ni l’affiliation ne doivent figurer sur la proposition)

Dates importantes :

Soumission des propositions : 2 décembre 2019
Notification d’acceptation: 15 janvier 2020
Colloque: 26 au 28 mars 2020

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the University of Quebec at Montreal, the Department of linguistics is pleased to invite submissions for oral presentations and poster sessions in French or English at a conference to be held at UQAM, March 26-28, 2020.

Submissions should present original research in a specific linguistic domain, such as:

- Aboriginal languages
- Acquisition
- Computational linguistics
- Forensic linguistics
- Grammatical Description
- Historical linguistics
- Morphology
- Pragmatics
- Phonetics
- Phonology
- Psycholinguistics
- Semantics
- Sign Languages
- Sociolinguistics
- Syntax

Abstracts are limited to 500 words, with four key words. They should include the title of the presentation, but not the name or the affiliation of the author, and they must be written in the language of the presentation. Please specify the preferred modality of the presentation (oral or poster).

Oral presentations are limited to 20 minutes, followed by 10 minutes for questions and discussion.
