Focus: The Spring School is directed at graduate and advanced undergraduate students interested in learning about the neurocognitive foundations of language, about how to make their research ideas into concrete steps towards experimental designs, how to approach data collection and how to analyse data using experimental and statistical methods.

Description:
The Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Novi Sad (Serbia) is delighted to invite you to take part in the 2nd International Spring School on Psycholinguistics, Neurolinguistics and Clinical Linguistics to be held at the University of Novi Sad on April 20-24, 2020. The Spring School is directed at graduate and advanced undergraduate students interested in learning about the neurocognitive foundations of language, about how to make their research ideas into concrete steps towards experimental designs, how to approach data collection and how to analyse data using experimental and statistical methods. The intensive short programme (40 hours) offers 2-hour sessions at two levels (introductory and advanced) in three interrelated disciplines, taught by experts from Denmark, France, Holland, Slovenia and Serbia. Students who complete a minimum of 12 sessions are entitled to 3 ECT credits.

The spring school is followed on April 25 2020 by the 8th edition of the Novi Sad workshop in Psycholinguistic, Neurolinguistic and Clinical Linguistic Research at the same venue. Attendees of the Spring school are encouraged to submit an abstract for a (poster) presentation at the workshop.

Tuition: 100 EUR
Tuition Explanation: Registration Fee: 100 EUR to be paid before February 15, 2020 after notification of acceptance (early February 2020). The registration fee includes attendance, materials, tea/coffee, light snacks (5 days), free access to the 8th Novi Sad workshop in Psycholinguistic, Neurolinguistic and Clinical Linguistic Research to be held on April 25th at the Faculty of Philosophy. Registration Instructions:
To be considered for attendance, send an expression of interest (see Application form here: http://www.ff.uns.ac.rs/sr/studijski-programi/programi-celozivotnog-ucenja/letnje-i-zimske-skole/2nd-international-spring-school-in-psycholinguistics-neurolinguistics-and-clinical-linguistics) to the email address provided before January 31 2020, setting out your reasons and motivation for wishing to attend. In case there are more expressions of interest than can be accommodated, priority will be given to graduate students with a demonstrated interest in the neurocognitive foundations of language. Notification of acceptance will be sent out in early February 2020.
