This workshop investigates subjectivity and intersubjectivity as key notions to interpret and explain different kinds of linguistic phenomena and strategies, with a special focus on their encoding, function and applicability in the pragmatic domain. The workshop will feature presentations starting from different current definitions of subjectivity and intersubjectivity, investigating data from both modern and ancient languages, synchronic and diachronic perspective, providing qualitative and quantitative analyses, examining different text types and discourse genres.
