Post Summary:

The School of Linguistic, Speech and Communication Sciences wishes to appoint an Assistant Professor (equivalent to Lecturer) in Applied Linguistics (TESOL) with expertise in second language pedagogy, classroom-based research and teaching methodologies. The person appointed will contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the Centre for Language and Communication Studies (CLCS). The successful candidate will be expected to teach on the CLCS M.Phil. programmes and to supervise postgraduate research at M.Phil. and Ph.D. level. She or he will increase Trinity College’s research strength in Applied Linguistics, TESOL and English Language Teaching. Information about the School is available at
