Meeting Description:
The Forum was created to bring people together to engage with the topic of Englishes in Australia (including contact varieties). Its aim is to be an inclusive space to share ideas and ongoing research for researchers of different disciplines, sub-disciplines and theoretical perspectives, to support early-stage research students, and to create a space for interactions and larger conversations around the object of study. It is intended to be a regular, free or low cost event with an outreach element to engage teachers, particularly those that teach the senior secondary subject VCE English Language.
Call for Papers:
Abstracts are invited for the Third Forum on Englishes in Australia (AusEng2020), which due to COVID-19 will now be held entirely online. Research on any aspect of English as used in Australia from any methodological or theoretical perspective is welcome.
Papers can be submitted as a 20-minute talk or a 5-minute speed-paper.
