The Department of Linguistics at Université de Paris is expected – pending approval – to open a position at the rank of Assistant Professor (Maître de Conférences - MCF) in Psycholinguistics and Phonology, starting in Fall 2021.

Candidates must show promise of strong scholarship, a good publication record, and a commitment to excellence in teaching. The successful candidate will have dual expertise in psycholinguistics and phonology, combining good knowledge of cutting-edge experimental methods with a strong focus on empirical and experimental research.

The candidate is expected to join the Laboratoire de Linguistique Formelle (LLF – and the broader research network to which it belongs, the LabEx “Empirical Foundations of Linguistics” (EFL –

Teaching will involve graduate and undergraduate courses and graduate seminars in psycholinguistics and in phonology in the Linguistics department ( A working knowledge of French is expected.

Salary is set in accordance with the French state-regulated public service salary scale.
