Description:

Exos Financial is looking for an NLP Specialist with experience in data science and knowledge of or background in formal linguistics to join its growing team of language experts in building the next generation of NLU capabilities in finance.

As an NLP Specialist, you will be tasked with developing solutions for information extraction and classification tasks, and applying your knowledge of syntax and semantics to contribute to research and development of Exos Financial’s core NLU capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:
-Develop models for information extraction and classification
-Work with software engineers to ensure code is written to production standard
-Contribute theoretically and practically to the development of novel NLU capabilities.
-Perform syntactic / semantic analysis on financial documents to inform analyses and methods

Job Skills:
-Python is essential
-Experience with core NLP and ML libraries (spacy, sklearn), neural network experience is a plus
-MA or higher in linguistics, or equivalent NLP experience, with an emphasis on syntax and semantics
