This conference is meant to address issues/studies concerning the educational role of language from the personal perspectives of learners and teachers, with a particular focus on the most recent turning points in education such as globalisation, digitalisation, migration, and individualisation. We will focus on identity as determined by language on the level of (ERL Scope Major, i.e.) schooling, culture, methodology, personality and (ERL Scope Minor, i.e.) students’ beliefs, activity, affect and thinking; general perspective: the issue of language-based identity in education.
