Due to the unexpected pandemic of COVID-19 and the abrupt shift from face-to-face learning and teaching practices to digital platforms brings several issues into discussion such as the platform to use, interaction, and assessment. We have witnessed rapid changes in the past year in how we teach and learn and communicate with each other using various technological devices. The current state and quality of language teaching and learning practices are heterogeneous. While in some contexts, teachers and learners benefit from a variety of well-designed digital and print resources, in some contexts, some others, having a reliable internet connection and a device to use appear to be the main concerns.

Thus, this edited collection is intended to offer readers cutting-edge updates on how teachers in different contexts teach English online indicating challenges and opportunities faced via a series of chapters as reflections on teachers’ own experience. These chapters will include:

a brief description of the context,
resources available, challenges and
challenges faced while teaching English online,
teachers’ own and constitutionally imposed solutions to these issues, and opportunities and benefits of teaching online

Teachers are invited to submit proposals according to the following criteria. Chapters must be original work and not under review for publication elsewhere. Since the book aims to include teachers’ reflections all around the world, potential teachers of English need to first complete the following Google Form:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfFoD1kxRXrJu3B12BjEj0_74J9-6geXrTy8jd7kCmvBN31tQ/viewform?usp=sf_link
