Subject: Call for Video Presentations - ILARA (Institute for Linguistic Heritage and Diversity)
E-mail this message to a friend ILARA, l'Institut des langues rares (Institute for Linguistic Heritage and Diversity), is launching a call for submissions and welcomes academic presentations in video format for its online series ILARA for Researchers.
To be eligible, the video must present original academic research on rare languages (lesser-described, used by small communities, endangered, extinct, etc.) or their cultures.
The video (between 20mn and 45mn), submitted via a file-sharing platform, must be accompanied by a CV, a list of publications, as well as a 500-word abstract, a list of 5 to 10 keywords, and a paragraph providing a rationale for considering the language under study 'rare' (all this in French or English).
The presentation will be evaluated by two experts, based on an evaluation chart available on request.
The selected videos will be published on the ILARA Online channel, free and in open access (CC-BY 3.0)
