Description:
The Department of Foreign Languages announces a scholarship in Digital Humanities within the PhD Programme in Foreign Languages and Literatures, track in Foreign Languages and translation.
Research topics will focus on Digital Humanities, including:
- The use of computational tools for corpus annotation, automatic extraction and analysis of linguistic data;
- The use of computer resources for the organization of linguistic data;
- The use of computational tools and computer resources for the modeling of linguistic phenomena (e.g. phraseological units, neology, simple and complex terminological units etc.);
- The use of statistical, computational and digital tools in language teaching and teacher education.
All these research paths will concern one of the following languages: English, French, Spanish or Chinese. Italian is eventually admitted for contrastive studies.
The project will concern aspects of the Digital Humanities applied to one of the following languages: French, English, Spanish, Chinese. For more details see the link below.
