***The deadline for abstract submission has been extended to Sunday, February 28, 2021. Please note that the program committee made the following changes in important dates to flexibly cope with the unexpectedness due to the second wave of the COVID19 spread.***

The 22nd Biennial Meeting of the International Circle of Korean Linguistics (ICKL22) will be held at National Chengchi University, Taipei, Taiwan on 16-18 August 2021 (arrival and banquet on 16 August 2021; conference presentations on 17-18 August 2021). This will be the fourth international academic fest focusing on Korean since the merger of the Harvard-ISOKL (Harvard International Symposium on Korean Linguistics) into the ICKL (International Circle of Korean Linguistics), and also be the first ICKL conference in Taiwan.

Guidelines for abstract submission:
We welcome abstracts touching on any of the above-listed (or related) fields for oral presentation (20 minute talk and 10 minute discussion). Abstracts must be submitted electronically to the following address:
with the author(s)’ information in a separate page including name, affiliation, title of the presentation, and email address.

Abstracts must be submitted as a single-spaced page, 1-inch margins all around, and in Times 12-point font. It should be submitted in the pdf format. If you need to use phonetic characters, please make sure that they are displayed correctly and embed the special fonts into the document. The content can be any combination of text, figures, tables, and examples. References can be optionally given on the 2nd page.

Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously and therefore must exclude all references to the author(s).
