The volume contains a peer-reviewed selection of papers presented at the Fifth International Symposium Russian Grammar: System–Usus–Language Variation, held from September 22 to 24, 2021, at the University of Potsdam (Germany).
In the virtual space of Potsdam, representatives of various academic schools and communities discussed theoretical and practical aspects of studying and teaching Russian grammar.

For details, see the introduction and contents at https://wipcad-potsdam.academia.edu/VladislavaWarditz.
The selected essays tackle the issues that arise when Russian Grammar meets new linguistic paradigms (such as corpus linguistics) and new challenges (such as heritage languages). The findings are discussed with a particular focus on an updated version of the 1980 Academy grammar of Russian. This collection of essays is dedicated to Alan Timberlake, on the occasion of his 75th birthday, and is a first volume of a new series Linguistica Philologica (https://www.peterlang.com/series/liph).

We invite interested colleagues to submit proposals that can consist of collections of papers, monographs, dissertations.
