Location: Metochi, Lesbos, Lesbos, Greece

Focus: The summer school lasts for one week with arrival on Sunday 24 July, classes from Monday to Saturday, and departure on Sunday 31 July in the morning. During the week, there will also be an excursion. You will have the opportunity to present your own research at a special session. Teachers this year: Sarah Thomason (Michigan), Daniel Schreier (Zürich), Horst Simon (Berlin), Darren Paffey (Southampton), Marina Dossena (Bergamo), Rik Vosters (Brussels) and Sandrine Tailleur (Chicoutimi).
Minimum Education Level: No Minimum

Description:
The summer schools organised by the Historical Sociolinguistics Network (HiSoN) offer classes by leading experts on modern and historical sociolinguists. There is space for only 40 graduate students and young (at heart!) researchers so you are advised to book early.

Tuition: 600 EURO
Tuition Explanation: Registration includes housing, meals (breakfast, lunch dinner), tuition, the excursion, and the transfers from Mytilene airport (Lesbos) to Metochi and back. The fee for participation is € 600 if you register before 1 May 2022, and € 750 if you register later than 1 May.
