Fascinated by the strange sounds, I tried to get to know some more languages, the only opportunity being TV courses of English and French -- there was no foreign language education for pre-teen school children in Germany yet in those days. Job Description: The College of William and Mary, Psychology Department invites applications for a one year non-tenure-track position of Visiting Professor that will begin August 2013. We seek an individual with expertise in Psycholinguistics who will hold a joint position in the Departments of Psychology and Linguistics.

The successful candidate will be expected to be an effective teacher; a Ph.D. is required at the time the candidate begins appointment. It is a 3-3 teaching load. The successful candidate will teach Psycholinguistics and Language Acquisition, which are cross-listed between the Linguistics program and Psychology. Teaching responsibilities also include the Linguistic program’s introduction to linguistics course as well as topics courses in the candidate’s area of expertise.
