Fascinated by the strange sounds, I tried to get to know some more languages, the only opportunity being TV courses of English and French -- there was no foreign language education for pre-teen school children in Germany yet in those days. Notice: Dear list-members,

I've started using SIL's toolbox-software for interlinearizing my corpus
of Arabic dialect texts (Latin/IPA transcript) and I'm now starting to
face some difficulties - concerning word formulas and Arabic morphology.
Does anyone of you have experience with toolbox and Arabic dialects? I
would greatly appreciate any kind of help, be it primary or secondary
literature or the possibility to ask specific questions.
