Since 1972, Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) has offered programs and courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels for professionals and pre-professionals who want formal training in or familiarity with TESOL and Applied Linguistics. Our Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics offers a robust track in English language teaching (TESOL) and a NEW track in language policy and planning (LPP). Other parallel programs focus on Connecticut State Teacher Certification, a shorter TESOL certificate, and undergraduate minor programs in Linguistics and TESOL.
