"Buenos dias", "buenas noches" -- this was the first words in a foreign language I heard in my life, as a three-year old boy growing up in developing post-war Western Germany, where the first gastarbeiters had arrived from Spain. Fascinated by the strange sounds, I tried to get to know some more languages, the only opportunity being TV courses of English and French -- there was no foreign language education for pre-teen school children in Germany yet in those days. Dear Authors,

We would like to invite you to submit your manuscripts to be evaluated for possible publication in Journal of Child Language Acquisition and Development - JCLAD (http://journal.science-res.com/index.php?journal=JCLAD). It is a peer-reviewed journal, published bimonthly in January, March, May, July, September and October. Studies designed to test a part or the whole of language acquisition theories; those bringing forth new hypotheses related to the nature of language acquisition and those which set bridges between language acquisition and other disciplines are given priority. Studies which take a descriptive approach to the nature of language acquisition and development at any stage or in any language are also welcome. Please see Author Guidelines (http://journal.science-res.com/index.php?journal=JCLAD&page=about&op=submissions#authorGuidelines) to work the style of your manuscript.

The evaluation process is planned to be completed within six weeks. The manuscripts submitted until the deadline (May, 30, 2013) will be published in the forthcoming issue in July, 2013 if they are accepted and the ones submitted after the deadline will be considered for the following issues.
