|Title:||Ikala, revista de lenguaje y cultura|
|Publisher:||Universidad de Antioquia|
|Description:||Íkala, journal of language and culture is a serial academic publication. It was set up in 1996 as a means of expression for the publishing company of the School of Languages of the Universidad de Antioquia (Colombia). Its aim is to communicate the trends, experiences and results of the theorizing and application of knowledge in both native and foreign languages and cultures. Therefore, Íkala seeks to establish itself as a broadcasting medium, making public the intellectual works produced by members of the School of Languages and by the national and international community of knowledge.
Being a publication of language and culture, Íkala welcomes articles from a wide subject range: linguistics, translation, bilingualism, the culture of modern language speaking peoples, and language teaching and learning.
