Journal Information

Title: Cahiers AFLS
Publisher: Association for French Language Studies
Description: Cahiers was created as the newsletter of the Association for French Language Studies in 1995 and was published in print form until 2003. From the outset, short refereed articles were included which may be consulted in the archive. In 2003 Cahiers went online underder the editorship of Tim Pooley then supported by Gaƫlle Planchenault and moved more towards its role as an academic journal, particularly but by no means exclusively, encouraging the work of new researchers. Of course these days hot-news items and announcements of future activities are better placed on AFLS-NEWS. Since January 2010, Cahiers has become an academic journal with an international editorial board. Cahiers is published twice a year (in January and July), and the first issue of the ``New Cahiers' will be available in July 2010.
