Description: Inquiry in African Languages and Literatures is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal of languages and linguistics published by the Department of Linguistics and Languages Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria.

The journal publishes original pieces of research in all areas of language and linguistic study including literature and culture.

The journal is published only in print and the languages of publication are English and Yorùbá.

Submission Guidelines:

The journal is published once a year, at the end of August. Manuscripts for consideration can be submitted at any time. All manuscripts submitted to Inquiry in African Languages and Literatures must include an abstract (250-300 words) and keywords (5-7 words or phrases) written in English.

Electronic submissions are required. Kindly send the paper in pdf or MS word format to the managing Editor at [email protected]

Initial submissions need not fully conform to the style sheet. Once a manuscript is accepted for publication, authors must submit revised versions prepared in strict accordance with the journal's style sheet which would be sent to authors once their papers are accepted.
