The journal was founded by the institute’s researchers who were eager to provide a platform to explore their long-existing collaborations yet further. Through web publication they hope to bring their work to a broader readership. ILCEA has a modern conception of the humanities and is interested in all aspects of the cultures, histories and current affairs of countries. It also focuses on the politics, culture, genres and form as well as the transition from one language or vocabulary to another.
