Description: The journal puts the focus on German and Mediterranean Studies. It covers the whole spectrum of the field from linguistics to literary and cultural studies. The articles in German or English will address the questions as to how the Mediterranean is represented in German language, literature, and culture from the Middle Ages until the present time. This academic journal pursues the goal to become a portal for Euromediterranean German Studies from both the German speaking regions and the Mediterranean. It is published by the Department of German Studies of the University of Zadar yearly online (open access) as well as in print. Upon authorial self-correction, it publishes original academic papers, research reports, and preliminary reports. Contributions are subject to double-blind peer-review. In addition, reviews and discussions of conferences, monographs, and anthologies from the field of Euromeditteranean German Studies will be published upon editorial discretion.
