Abstract: A methodology developed for teaching writing to EFL Spanish speakers had the unexpected benefits of improving their pronunciation and oral comprehension also. /L/The resulting developmental research produced a new educational concept, the "learning quantum". The author explains the learning quantum concept and the neurological basis for creating improved teaching materials using multisensory principles.
