Program Description: We have a growing program in the Department of English at UNR. Our current faculty specialize in Morphosyntax (Navajo, Paiute, Hebrew), Sociolinguistics (US English, Scottish English), Language Documentation (Gaelic, Navajo, Paiute), and Germanic (Old English, Old Norse). We are also launching an interdisciplinary BS in Computational Linguistics in collaboration with the departments of World Languages and Computer Science. Admissions commence Fall 2022.
Available Financial Aid: Graduate teaching assistantships are available, which include tuition remission and a stipend.
