General Linguistics
Program Size: Large (over 25 students)
Program Description: The Linguistics Department of the University of Zadar invites all enthusiastic and motivated B.A. graduates with a strong interest in linguistics, and all its theoretical, psychological, sociological, empirical, and computational aspects to enroll in the new M.A. Program in Linguistics.

Duration and contents
The program lasts four semesters (= 2 years) and comprises four obligatory core courses. Students choose from a large number of elective courses according to their personal interests and specialization area, including for example: theoretical and empirical linguistics, psycholinguistics, and second language acquisition research.
The MA program complements the classical linguistic education with experimental and empirical research methods. Creative thinking and advancement of teamwork are essential values conveyed throughout the program, accompanied by individual and intensive tutoring involving current research issues.

The program imparts solid knowledge of linguistic theories and research methods, including:
