|Program Description:||The aim of this programme is to provide a foundation in applied linguistics for language professionals. Several specialist facilities are available for students of Applied Linguistics and English Language Teaching (ELT). In the fields of Applied Linguistics/ELT, Reading has one of the best collections of books and journals in the country. Many MA modules are supported by specialist article collections. There is also a self-access learning centre and access to language corpus facilities and several computer laboratories. Requirements: Applicants should have a relevant university degree. Some professional experience (e.g. language teaching or translation) would be an advantage.
