Program Description: We welcome applicants who are interested in becoming teachers of Japanese. Students will gain knowledge of linguistics, pedagogy, literature, and culture through coursework as well as also practical teaching skills and experience through teaching college students as Associate Instructors in the language courses. Our graduates work as teachers in secondary schools as well as in leading universities and colleges across North America and Asia. Some of our graduates continue their studies in leading PhD programs in Asian Studies, Education, Linguistics, Education, and Second Language Studies.
