One of the largest schools in the University, the School of Education andLifelong Learning is based on the St. Lukes Campus close to the heart ofthis historic City. The School is one of the most highly regarded schoolsof education in the country, with a strong international reputation bothfor the quality of its research and its teaching. To maintain and enhancethis position, we are seeking to make five new appointments at levelsranging from Lecturer to Professor. Level of appointments will bedetermined according to qualifications and experience and all posts will beavailable from September 2008 onwards.
We are looking for dynamic staff who will contribute to our research-ledteaching, to our outstanding doctoral programmes and the vibrant researchculture of the School. The key areas we are looking to appoint to are:TESOL/Applied Linguistics. The appointment salary for all posts isnegotiable dependent upon qualifications and experience with minimumstarting salaries of: Lectureship appointments (Grade F) £30,763; SeniorLectureship (Grade G) £37,835; Associate Professorship (Grade H) £47,927.Professorial applications will be subject to individual negotiation.
