About the Journal

Language and Cognition is an exciting new interdisciplinary journal of languageand cognitive science. It is a venue for the publication of high qualitypeer-reviewed research of a theoretical, empirical and/or experimental nature,focusing on the interface between language and cognition. It publishes, and isopen to, research from the full range of subject disciplines, theoreticalbackgrounds, and analytical frameworks that populate the language and cognitivesciences, on a wide range of topics. Research published in the journal typicallyadopts an interdisciplinary, comparative, multi-methodological approach to thestudy of language and cognition and their intersection.

The journal is edited by Daniel Casasanto (MPI Psycholinguistics, Nijmegen),Seana Coulson (UCSD), Vyvyan Evans (Bangor University), Laura Michaelis(University of Colorado, Boulder), David Kemmerer (Purdue University) and ChrisSinha (Portsmouth University).

Language and Cognition is the official journal of the UK-Cognitive LinguisticsAssociation (UK-CLA). Individual members of the UK-CLA are entitled to freeonline access to Language and Cognition. Membership is free in 2009 and reducedby 50% in 2010. The UK-CLA is open to all regardless of geographical base,nationality or theoretical background.
