Seek individual to implement the organization's strategic plan throughadvocacy and professional relations, conference and education programs, andmembership promotion and retention; serve as the spokesperson with themedia and the public; provide leadership to fundraising efforts; and workwith the Board to identify significant issues that affect the professionglobally.

The successful candidate will possess a Master's degree (doctoratepreferred); a minimum of five years of increasingly responsible seniororganizational management experience; and a cross-cultural sensitivity.Preferred qualifications include fluency in a language other that English;a degree, certification or experience teaching English to speakers of otherlanguages; knowledge of applied linguistics; experience living and workingabroad; a record of work, and professional development, in associationmanagement; and a CAE or willingness to attain.
