Dear colleagues,

We would like to inform you about two corpora of spoken discourse availableat the Research Center on Multilingualism in Hamburg/ Germany. Both corporacan be accessed online at no charge for research and teaching purposes.

1.The CoSi-corpus consists of six hours of presentational discourse (35.000words, transcriptions and audio files) in Portuguese rendered into German(simultaneous and consecutive interpreting).Further information: http://exmaralda.org/en_sfb_k6.html

2.The DiK-corpus consists of 91 doctor-patient interactions in German,Portuguese and Turkish (mainly medical interviews and informed consent,160.000 words, transcriptions only). Half of the interactions take placewith participation of ad-hoc-interpreters (nurses or family members of thepatient).Further information: http://exmaralda.org/en_sfb_k2.html
