Please see below a link to an article that attests to the rich spatial language of Indigenous Australian languages, and how this plays itself out in the practical arena of the uniquely Australian football code, Australian Rules (commonly known as AFL). Although the Warlpiri and Guugu Yimithirr languages are specifically identified in this article, it is relevant to all Australian languages, although there are of course some differences, too.
