Call for Research Participants
Full-time faculty at U.S. colleges and universities are needed for a study on researchers’ knowledge of the United States federal guidelines for the protection of human research participants as they relate to research in language and linguistics. Participants will fill out a survey that asks questions about their experience with Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) and asks them to consider hypothetical research summaries and judge whether or not they constitute research with human participants. Participants must meet the following criteria:
• they must be full-time faculty at a college or university in the United States
• they must conduct research with human research participants in a field related to language and linguistics
• they must have prepared and submitted at least one IRB application to your institution’s IRB within the past five years (2020 - present)
Interested participants can click on the following link to access the consent form and survey:
The survey will be open until July 10, 2024.
Many thanks for your help!
