The 26th Annual International Conference of the English Department welcomes contributions of current interest in all areas of theoretical and applied linguistics.
Call for Papers:
Papers are invited in:
- Theoretical Linguistics (syntax, morphology, phonology, semantics and the interfaces, language acquisition)
- Applied linguistics and translation studies
Invited speakers
Susi Wurmbrand (Paris Lodron University of Salzburg)
Robert Truswell (University of Edinburgh)
Diana Hornoiu (“Ovidius” University of Constanța)
Presentations will be allocated 25 minutes each, plus 5 minutes for discussion. Abstracts should not exceed two A4 pages, Times New Roman 12, single spaced, and should be submitted to the following email address: [email protected]
A selection of the papers will be published in a collective volume.
Conference fee:
100 euro or 500 lei – early bird registration (by April 30, 2025)
120 euro or 600 lei – late payment (after April 30, 2025)
50 euro or 250 lei – doctoral students

Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, 7-13 Pitar Moș St., Bucharest, Romania
