Meeting Description:
The workshop, to be held at the University of Vienna on July 15-16, 2025, aims to bring together researchers working within Distributed Morphology and Nanosyntax, inviting them to share recent developments and findings in their respective frameworks and/or to examine (key) phenomena from a comparative perspective, highlighting both the similarities and differences between the two approaches. This way, the conference wants to encourage dialogue, interaction and cooperation amongst researchers interested in formal morphosyntax. While the workshop places a particular emphasis on phenomena observed in Romance languages, we welcome submissions addressing any language or language family. Contributions that draw on cross-linguistic data or provide comparative perspectives are especially encouraged, as they enrich the broader theoretical and empirical discussions.
INVITED SPEAKERS
