Description:
We are delighted to announce the 10th edition of our International Summer School in Affective Sciences (ISSAS 2024), which will take place from July 5th to 12th 2024 at the Château de Bossey, an 18th century manor house located in an outstanding natural environment overlooking Lake Geneva and the French Alps.

This year the topic of the summer school, organized by the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences (CISA), is “EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE (EI): Theory and research on the perception, use and regulation of emotions, with implications for education, health, and organizations”.

ISSAS represents a very exciting opportunity to address the theme in an interdisciplinary manner, with contributions from leading scholars in several areas of psychology and neuroscience. The school will explore the latest theories, insights, and applications in the field. It will cover topics such as emotion regulation, the assessment of EI, the development of emotional competencies across the lifespan, the interaction between different emotional competencies and clinical conditions, and the role of EI in organizations.

The list of confirmed invited speakers includes:
1. Stéphane CÔTÉ (University of Toronto)
2. Isabel DZIOBEK (Humboldt University of Berlin)
3. Yasemin ERBAŞ (Tilburg University)
4. Marina FIORI (Swiss Federal University for Vocational Education and Training)
