Position Overview:
A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in multilingualism and language learning is open at the Department of Language and Culture (ISK), part of the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Education (HSL). The position is affiliated with the Center for Language, Brain & Learning (C-LaBL), focusing on the Learning domain, funded by the Trond Mohn Foundation 2024-2029. The fixed-term position spans three years and is aimed at qualifying candidates for prominent academic roles.

Location and Starting Date:
The workplace is at UiT in Tromsø (Norway), with an expected starting date in August/September 2024.

Qualifications:
- Required: PhD in Linguistics, Language Education, or related fields, expertise in empirical language research, and excellent proficiency in English.
- Desired: Strong statistical modeling skills, experience with multilingual populations, proficiency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language, and knowledge of additional languages.
